My obituary

Sarah Jane Martinez, a world-renowned travel blogger, died last night during one of her travels in her lavish Italy vacation home at 41.

After a night of wine-tasting and wandering the streets of Rome, Martinez past away in her sleep due to unknown head trauma from slipping on a banana peel.

Martinez attended San Jose State University where she studied advertising management.

After graduation, she moved to New York City where she landed a position as project manager at the top agency.

At the age of 21, Martinez began her blog "Traveling Soulfully" which started out as a journal for her travels.

After 5 years of travelling on-and-off, Martinez decided to quit her advertising job and travel full-time.

Martinez's goal for "Travelling Soulfully" was to show there is always a hidden gem as long as you are willing to explore.

Her success as a travel blogger led to her collaborating with Aerie as a spokesperson for their summer, travel campaign.

Her experiences led her to her husband, John Doe, where they met in Paris on top of the Eiffel Tower when she was 26.

They later married at the age of 31 and had two kids, Sarah Jr. and John Jr.

Besides travelling, Martinez loved to binge-watch Netflix and bake.

"I loved whenever she made her famous red velvet cupcakes," said John Jr. "She always baked a mountain of treats whenever she came home from travelling."

Her family will host a viewing on Sept. 8 which is to be followed the next day Sept. 9 with a funeral mass.
