Kaleoaloha Wilson walked in with his typical stylish, yet casual outfit: beanie, wind breaker and jeans.

He made the drastic decision of switching from a global studies major to advertising to help make that dream become a reality.
Wilson came into San Jose State University hoping to learn about the world and how to make a difference, but found the major to be a little too grim for his tastes.
"I want to be a level-headed and educated representative of my community... but still do anything that gets my creative juices flowing," said Wilson.
One of Wilson's many art projects caught the eye of a friend at a manage and podcast leading to his participation in a project "as someone who identifies as mixed race and queer in the Bay Area."
Wilson shared how drawing and painting helped him express his emotions at a time he struggled the most with his identity for the project.
"Although the entire project was scrapped and left cold, it still felt empowering to be a representative of my culture and identity as an upcoming creative," said Wilson.
"He's so hardworking. I always see him in-and-out of the apartment and does everything at 110%," said his roommate Chloe Agdipa.
Agdipa became his roommate after meeting him through Akbayan, a Pilipino cultural organization during Wilson's time as Academics Chair.
